The next Crag Care day will be on
Saturday 7th September

Would you like to help us maintain access to our beloved climbing areas in the Blue Mountains, while enjoying a fun day out with fellow climbers?

On Saturday 7/9 we'll be assisting Council and professional track builders to help build and maintain tracks that we use to access climbing areas. The day involves laborious work but is fun and in a friendly environment.

If you'd like to volunteer for the day, register by emailing: cragcare@gmail.com. Please note that we have a maximum number of participants so registering is essential.

Our long term sponsor BJR Climbing will be providing morning tea and refreshments and lunch is provided by them and Blackheath Butchery. (We also cater for vegetarians and other dietary requests).

On the day we'll meet at a Blackheath trailhead at around 8am (exact location TBD) and will work until about 4pm with morning tea and lunch breaks.

What is Crag Care?

The main focus of Crag Care is repairing and enhancing walking tracks that are used by the local community, visitors and climbers. The works are all overseen and coordinated by Blue Mountains City Council who supply training, equipment and insurance
